Pack O Game: Set 3
A series of eight new entries in Perplext’s successful line of 30-card, gum-sized games. Hired through Brieger Creative to develop and refine game-play, rules, and content on a team of four. Worked on 11 games total, with three being cut for the final release. Led development on four titles, reworked the rules for all.
My roles:
Game development: Tested and adjusted mechanical and graphic elements of 11 games, spanning many genres including but not limited to: deckbuilders, tile layers, area control, trick taking, and set collection.
Game design: Designed two games of 11 total. Created and rapidly iterated prototypes.
Rules: Wrote, rewrote, and/or edited rule sheets for all games in series, ensuring readability and brevity.
Testing: Led both guided and unguided tests of all games in the series, collecting data for other developers and stakeholders.
